Softball season is in full swing with games happening every Tuesday night. With some friendly rivalry between the two company teams (Neverblue Ballers and the Neverblue Jays) a good time is had by all.

Neverblue held a golf tournament at Prospect Lake Golf Course just for a fun night out after work. Couldn’t have asked for better weather. It was warm all night and everyone had a blast (no matter how tremendously bad or good they played). The tournament was followed by a buffet dinner and prizes, including the convented Neverblue Jacket.

Everyone loves a good rivarly, and dodgeball is no exception. On June 21st Neverblue employees hit the courts at the Save-on -Foods Memorial Centre for some friendly competition during the Victoria Open Dodgeball Championships. The Neverblue Nerds placed 2nd in the semi-finals and the Neverblue Ninja’s won most sportsmanlike team in their division.

Neverblue employees snuck out of the office early on a sunny Friday afternoon for the UVic Employer Recognition Golf Tournament. It was a great opportunity for Neverblue employees to work on their golf swing and network with Commerce students. Neverblue was awarded with UVic Co-op Employer of the Year!

The Neverblue Crew hit the streets of Victoria for the 3rd consecutive year racing against Victoria’s tech community. This year the team raised $3500 for the research and early detection of cancer. The racing team placed 5th overall and had an all time best speed of 44km/hr.

Neverblue hosted a fun night of poker for rookies all the way up to legendary card slingers to benefit the Canary Foundation for the early detection of cancer. The Rookies received generously donated prizes from Peacock Billiards, Fish hair salon and Panago Pizza. The pro and legendary players won a day off work! Thanks to Lighthouse Brewing Company for the fabulous drinks! What a great night!

Neverblue employees hit the streets for the Times Colonist 10K this weekend in the corporate team challenge. Our team, the Neverblue Nitros, had some amazing personal times in the event and everyone had sore legs and a sense of accomplishment from the run. The Times Colonist 10K is an annual fun run that brings together the community in a festival of outdoor activity and helps to sponsor local charities. This year the run was attended by over 10,000 entrants from elite runners to children.
